Creating the City of South Fulton will benefit all of South Fulton.......

East Point City Council member Karen Rene made a passionate plea against creating a new city in unincorporated south Fulton County at a recent meeting of local elected officials. According to Rene, the proposed city of South Fulton would cause revenues to drop for existing cities due to a redistribution of local option sales tax (L.O.S.T.) dollars.

FACT: Some of the smaller municipalities in South Fulton, our neighbors, will be adversely affected by the creation of a new city.
